A limited amount of blushing at the right time, and place, can be quite charming. It can even speak volumes for innocent vulnerability, modesty, and the strength of our intimate response.
It can also indicate embarrassment, gaucheness, ineptitude, guilt, shame and low self-confidence......
Using the latest psychological approaches, we quickly and effectively remove the old responses, and program in a happier, more confident public face and private feelings.
This can happen so quickly (typically in a session or two) that many former sufferers are both delighted and astonished at their new freedom, and the duties and activities they can now perform. For many, this brings a sudden and pleasing expansion of both their professional career, and their private social life.
Becoming red-faced in public, when the centre of personal attention, or on meeting the opposite sex, can be truly limiting - especially if your career or role in life demands or requires this.
Many highly self-conscious clients have sought our help to overcome this problem, which normally starts in adolescence or perhaps later teenage years. Sufferers find that they have developed an acute self-consciousness, often accompanied by rapid and anxious thoughts and feelings of embarrassment.
The more a person is aware that they may be blushing, the more they tend to blush, leading to a repetitive and automatic cycle. For the embarrassment phobic, they cannot bear the thought of showing this reaction so clearly, and being supposedly 'read' by other people. So they develop coping mechanisms or use alcohol and drugs to limit their responses. Unfortunately, these often limit other responses at the same time....
"There is absolutely no need for anyone
to suffer a phobia nowadays......"
